Ten Things Booklovers Are Tired Of Hearing

Those folks who are not book lovers just don’t understand.

Why would you listen to a book you have already read?

Why do you buy the hardcover and a paperback? And an ebook?

Why would you take a day off work because the next in one of your favorite series is released?

Why do you go trolling on the internet for new stories?

Why do you search out every bookstore in every town you visit?

This is books scramble. Many books on white background.How can you spend a whole day in the same spot on the couch just reading?

How can you possibly cry over a silly character in a book?

Why do you talk about the characters in your story like they are real people?

Why do you have library cards to every library for a 60 mile radius of your home?

Why do you get so angry with an author when they kill off a character? It’s their story!

Why do you read the ending of a story just to see if it’s a good or bad ending?  It’s just a story!

Why do you hope for a rainy day so you can read a book?

What’s so great about going to a book convention?

Do you know how much money you waste on buying books?

Why would you write a book review?  Everyone can just read the book and be done with it – they don’t have to be told if it’s good or not.

Why do you hoard books?  What’s wrong with you?? Just read the story already!
