One Book Two (https://onebooktwo.wordpress.com) (nellie32015@gmail.com) will be on Parajunkee.com as features…

Question of the Week!

Share a random quote from the book you are currently reading.- Suggested by Journey Through Fiction.

Nervous_Nellie_100Nervous Nellie says…

(talking about a painting)…something that looks like a cat rolled in paint and then had a seizure.  On canvas.”

“….a woman who grew up in a Midwestern household where variety meant moving potatoes to the left side of the beef, it proved to be nothing short of a trip to another dimension.”  The Waking Serpent, The Fearless Series, Terry Maggert

“But also transcendent powers of luck, health, abundance, and long life.  And maybe even a set of steak knives.”

“…..Plus, the A/C had dropped to subartic, and my gooseflesh was starting to hatch goslings……”

“……apparently my supernatural skills didn’t extend to remote wakey-wakey.”

One Wilde Night, Immortal Vegas series by Jenn Stark

Invested_Ivana_100Invested Ivana says…

“I really do like curses. They can’t fail, that’s the beauty of them. Any bad thing that happens to either boy, from now to Kingdom Come, they’ll attribute it to my curse.  Should the devils survive to adulthood, they’ll tell their children and grandchildren about it.  They’ll blame me for everything from their ingrown nails to a fall in stock prices.  They’ll swear my name at every paper cut, every death of a child.  It’s more power than I have, and more power than anyone deserves.  But they’re the ones who give it away, so to hell with them.”  —Chapelwood, Cherie Priest

  13. CONGRATS on being featured this week! WOOT, WOOT!!! : )

Some of those quotes are really funny! The one about moving the potatoes to the left side of the beef, for variety’s sake, is hilarious. My favorite quote, though, is the one about the cat rolling in paint across a blank canvas. That’s what someone who dislikes Abstract Expressionism would say. Maybe Jackson Pollock used his cat at times? Lol.

I’m following your blog with Bloglovin’. happy Reading!! : )
