Nell’s Gossip and Sunday Book Hunt 10.23

Welcome to One Book Two. I love gossip and what gossip is any better than book or author gossip? Normally, I’m not one to repeat rumors, so be sure you listen close the first time.Nervous_Nellie_100

This Week’s Gossip:

26402927Harmony Black series has announced #3.  Did I get your attention?  Harmony Black’s series written by Craig Schaefer is planning a release on March 28, 2017.  The tentative title will be Glass Predator and the possible #4 title will be Cold Spectrum.  This is a major win for my Waiting on Wednesday pile, let me tell you.  Here’s reviews of Harmony Black and Red Knight Falling.

Another piece of hot news from Craig Schaefer-dom as well and James A. Hunter-world is the release of a Daniel Faust AND Yancy Lazarus short story in Full Metal Magic.  PLUS shorts from other authors I love to read.

The next little tidbit I have is a new series by Thea Harrison.  Familiar with that name? She writes the Elder Races series.  Dragons, Harpy, Griffin, Vampire – all these creatures have a story and believe me – Thea writes one hell of a story.  The new series is going to be called Moonshadow and I’m looking forward to a new series from this author.  Release date December 13, 2016.bound

New cover release from Benedict JackaAlex Verus #8 – Bound with release date of April 4, 2017.  See 1B2’s reviews of Veiled  and Burned.

Let’s see, what else did I learn this week?  OMG, I can’t believe I nearly forgot!  Did you hear that Stephen Blackmoore released the cover for Eric Carter #3!  It’s so exciting!!  I read on Mr. Blackmoore’s blog awhile ago that he trashed the whole book #3 and started over because he didn’t like the way it turned out.  So instead of just going with it, he took a step back and re-wrote the whole thing!  The new #3 hungry-ghostsbook will be released February 17, 2017 and it will be called Hungry Ghosts.  That’s really not a surprise if you follow Stephen Blackmoore, but the next juicy bit is the fact that he knows the title for book #4, Fire Season – release date 2018, #5, Ghost Money – release date 2019, AND #6, Bottle Demon – release date 2020!  Woot!!

1B2’s review of Dead Things, Eric Carter #1 and Broken Souls, Eric Carter #2.
