1B2’s reviews in this series:
Whatever he’s hiding is what I need to not only nail his coffin shut, but to dig down to the earth’s core to bury him and cover with millions of pounds of concrete.”
- Jeaniene Frost released another series when I wasn’t looking. She has Night Huntress World, Night Prince series, Broken Destiny series, the rock star of all her series, Night Huntress series, and now there is a new series in town called Night Rebel.

The Rule Breaker
Master vampire Ian is unrepentant, shameless…and every shade of wicked. He’s made one too many enemies in his two centuries of existence, including Dagon, a demon who now lays claim to his soul. Ian’s only chance to escape Dagon is to join forces with a Law Guardian, but he’s never been able to abide by the rules for long.
The Law Maker
Veritas’ normal role is police, judge and jury to reprobates like Ian. But she has her own ax to grind with Dagon, so if she can use Ian as bait…well, all’s fair in law and war. As they scour supernatural hotspots to perfect their trap, Veritas soon realizes Ian’s devil-may-care, roguish image hides something much more powerful. And Ian discovers that Veritas has shocking secrets of her own. As they’re drawn to each other with a passion as intense as their peril, either love or justice will prevail. But each will have devastating consequences…
- Here’s a book that caught my eye. These authors, D.D. Miers and Graceley Knox, are unfamiliar to me but this books description is what put this book in the firm TBR pile. Yeah, got it in my library and everything so every time I open my kindle it’s there…taunting me. I AM looking forward to reading this one because, again, read the description! Oh, and while I was out sifting through the books these authors have in their repertoire, I got hooked on more of their books. Check out these series too: Wicked Kingdoms (Knox), Half-Blood Huntress Chronicles (Miers & Knox), How to Be a Necromancern (Miers & Knox) and Relic Keeper (Miers)
Title: Gravestones and Wicked Bones
Author: D.D. Miers and Graceley Knox
Series: Shadow Creatures #1
Release date: December 5, 2018
Description: Half Fae. Half Demon. 100% Badass Bitch.
My sisters and I weren’t born with magic. No, we were forced into it. Betrayed into it by the one person who was supposed to protect us. Now we’re living in a shithole desert town at the mercy of a sexy-as-hell Fae named Bastian.
So far, I’ve been able to buy Violet and Jade time to live freely, without being held to Bastian’s constant call. I’ve been doing his dirty work for five long years, but my sisters’ freedom is wearing thin. Soon he’ll summon them, just as he did me—and I can’t let that happen.
Bastian’s latest assignment offers an escape for my sisters, and I’d be a fool not to take it. But my target is more powerful than any man I’ve faced before, and doubly seductive. He draws out my inner demons—literally—and evading this attraction might prove more difficult than finishing what I started.
